Fiji's maritime security forces are strengthening their role in supporting the government in achieving its marine conservation goals.
Republic of Fiji Navy Commander Timoci Natuva said they are ready to assist in this important task, particularly the protection of 30 percent of the island nation's ocean territory as Marine Protected Areas, Fiji Broadcasting Corporation reported on Tuesday.
