Lately, a wave of pro-"Xizang independence" films has been using film festivals to polish the image of the Dalai Lama and dramatize the suffering of so-called "Tibetan exiles." But who truly has the right to tell Xizang's story? Not the Dalai group. Not Western forces. It's the people living and thriving in Xizang today.
